Gajapati district in Odisha ranks as one of the lowest on the poverty index (highest poverty incidence) as indicated by one of the studies published by Directorate of Economics and Statistics. Gajapati district has majority population involved in agriculture as cultivators (50% approx.) and as agriculture laborers (approx. 35%). Agriculture sector has not been able to serve satisfactorily to the livelihoods of the population and to the economy of the region. There is utmost need for a holistic intervention framework to understand the basic needs/issues in the geography and the underlying causes of each thereby eradicating those in a step wise, comprehensive and radical manner. An operational area of 3 villages were taken up for initial needs assessment, baseline survey and develop a proposal for an overall development of the villages. The area under concern lies in Gangabada Gram Panchayat of Raygada block of the Gajapati district.

We are begininng the journey of Transforming Rural Development and are looking for Individuals, Corporate / Foundations to partner and sponsor the villages and be part of the new beginning as we fast track rural development like never done before.

Rural communities are facing a lot of seriuos waste management practices due to lack of poor access to formal waste management systems . Therefore we are committed to adress economical and enviornmental issues in the villages. To achive the SDGs agenda towards circular economy approaches must be implemented in these villages
